Kristina Peterson is an experienced infrastructure finance professional with extensive private sector experience. She is currently CEO of cleantech financial advisory firm, Mayflower Partners. Ms. Peterson has led various solar energy investment companies, serving most recently in senior M&A and investment, development, operations and asset management roles at Brookfield Renewable Partners (NYSE:BEP) and Terraform Power (NASDAQ: TERP), and serving in CEO, CFO and other senior management positions at EDF Renewable Energy, Suntech, and Greenwood Energy. She has led solar equity investments and mezzanine debt lending totaling $2.2bln in the past 6 years with high total returns. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Project and Structured Finance for ABN AMRO Bank and Citibank for 10 years in the energy, infrastructure and telecom industries, arranging over $5 billion of senior debt transactions. She serves as Independent Board Director of energy management software firm Iteros which entered into a long-term licensing agreement with Willdan (NASDAQ: WLDN) in 2020, and as Co-Chair, Women Corporate Directors Foundation, San Diego Chapter, since 2016.
Ms. Peterson brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience in energy, investment finance and banking organizations. She has a global business perspective, as senior executive for companies based in Canada, China, Dubai (UAE), France, Greece, the Netherlands, and U.S. She is a frequent speaker at business conferences and her work has been featured at Bloomberg, Solar Power International, Clinton Global Initiative, Greentech Media/Wood Mackenzie, The Climate Group, and Photon Consulting.
Ms. Peterson received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her BS Business Administration from Boston University. She completed additional graduate coursework at MIT Sloan. National Association of Corporate Directors, Board Leadership Fellow (2014-2015).
