Bobby Jones

As Vice President of Information Technology at CGC, Bobby drives innovation that powers the organization’s mission to accelerate clean energy investment. He leads strategic digital transformation initiatives and ensures CGC’s technological capabilities effectively support its growing portfolio of products and services while fostering operational excellence across the organization. 

A seasoned leader with over 15 years of experience, Bobby brings extensive expertise in IT strategy, cloud transformation, and enterprise solutions. Prior to joining CGC, he served as Director of IT Strategy and Operations at the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, where he spearheaded initiatives that significantly improved operational efficiency while reducing costs. His earlier career includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, and Accenture, where he managed complex implementations for global clients. 

Beyond his professional work, Bobby is deeply committed to advancing sustainable practices and clean energy adoption, particularly in affordable housing development. He combines his technical knowledge with hands-on experience in clean energy projects, working to promote building decarbonization and expand access to sustainable solutions in underserved communities. 

Bobby holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Based in Washington, DC, he leverages his unique blend of technology leadership and sustainability experience to advance CGC’s mission of creating a clean energy future that benefits all communities.
