Dr. Sue Tierney is a leading energy policy analyst currently serving as senior advisor at the Analysis Group. She chairs the Board of ClimateWorks Foundation and the Board of Resources for the Future. Dr. Tierney is also a director of the World Resources Institute and the Energy Foundation.
Dr. Tierney previously served as Assistant Secretary for Policy in the United States Department of Energy under President Bill Clinton. Before then, she was Secretary of Environmental Affairs in Massachusetts, Commissioner at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, Chairman of the Board of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and Executive Director of the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Council.
In March, Dr. Tierney testified before the House Science, Space and Technology Committee on grid infrastructure investments, including thorough support for the proposed Clean Energy and Sustainability Accelerator.
