Anu Yadav is a Managing Director on the Investment team at the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC). In this role, Anu will collaborate across the CGC platform to originate, structure and execute transactions in Sustainable Infrastructure assets including Solar, Storage, Wind (onshore and offshore), EV Infrastructure, Transmission, Water, Carbon Capture and other proven technologies expected to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants. Anu’s focus will be on making market-based investments in segments of the market that are capital constrained, including low income, disadvantaged and tribal communities, and that will mobilize private capital investment via public-private partnerships.
Prior to joining CGC, Anu spent the bulk of her 23-year banking career at Citigroup in structured finance helping developers, Private Equity firms, Infrastructure Funds and IPPs finance their renewable energy projects and portfolios. While at Citi, Anu went on to lead the utility-scale tax equity business closing transactions, both in an advisory capacity and as a principal tax equity investor, alongside commodity hedge providers, construction, term and back-leverage lenders, co-investors and other equity investors that enabled over 8GW of renewable generation assets, valued in excess of $16bn, to come online. Anu also worked extensively with companies in some of the newer energy transition sectors including low carbon fuels, green hydrogen, EV, battery and solar PV manufacturing and critical mineral production to facilitate raising capital either via monetizing IRA tax credits, tapping into various low-cost government funding programs or potentially the private credit markets.
Anu graduated in October 2000 from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business with a Master of Business Administration degree and has lived in New York City since 2001.
