Devin Case-Ruchala is a trained data scientist specializing in public banking and community development finance and serves as Senior Director of Strategic Analytics at CGC. This role focuses on aligning the financial portfolio with the organization’s impact goals by developing internal data systems, leading research initiatives, and translating insights into strategic decisions.

With a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Devin brings expertise in data science, advanced statistical methodologies, and research on public bank creation and finance. Prior experience includes work in the community development finance and cooperative sectors, serving as a financial manager and board member of a housing cooperative, and contributing to a national CDFI loan fund. Devin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy Analysis and Business from Indiana University.
