Greg is a Senior Advisor at the Coalition for Green Capital where he focuses on connecting the bank to members of the consortium, develops coinvesting opportunities with members of the consortium, develops new consortium members and establishes relationships with community groups. He is also a member of the Investment & Risk Committee. His career spans nearly 40 years.
Prior to joining CGC, Greg was a Managing Director and head of Investment & Portfolio Management at the NY Green Bank for 4.5 years. NY Green Bank is a $1 billion New York State sponsored finance company focused on specialty finance for sustainable infrastructure and clean energy. In the 4.5 years Greg headed Investment and Portfolio Management the NY Green Bank committed more than $1.2 billion primarily to solar, wind, storage, energy efficiency and sustainable transportation projects all expected to lead to reductions in greenhouse gases. NYGreen Bank is the largest such state sponsored fund in the country
Prior to NY Green Bank, Greg spent 16 years as an investment banker with Greenhill & Company in NY and Houston. Prior to Greenhill, Greg spent 12 years with Goldman Sachs where he headed the Project Finance and Midstream Energy teams.
Greg is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tufts University with a degree in Economics and holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School
