Zewud Debebe

Zewud Debebe is a seasoned human resources executive with over 30 years of experience in human capital management. She currently serves as the Vice President of People and Equity at the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the deployment of clean energy through innovative financing solutions. 

Prior to joining CGC, Zewud was the Chief Human Capital Officer at Pact, an international nonprofit organization focused on social development. In this role, she led global human capital strategies, emphasizing employee effectiveness and organizational culture. 

Before her tenure at Pact, Zewud served as the CEO of ODA Global, a minority- and women-owned management consulting firm specializing in comprehensive human resource services. Her extensive background includes policy and strategy development that integrates regulatory compliance with best practices in human capital management. 

Throughout her career, Zewud has held executive positions at Social Solutions International and Danya International, as well as HR management roles at Koba & Associates and Gannett. Her expertise spans employee and management development, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, performance management, recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation, and corporate policies and procedures. 

In her current role at CGC, Zewud is instrumental in aligning human capital initiatives with the organization’s mission to drive clean energy adoption.
