Aryana Nakhai is an Associate on the Investments team at the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC), where she combines her background in engineering and finance to support the organization’s mission of accelerating the clean energy transition. Her work centers on originating, structuring, and executing transactions that deploy capital to drive sustainable investments across a diverse range of green asset classes.

Before joining CGC, Aryana worked as a research engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where she specialized in techno-economic analysis of renewable energy technologies and co-authored numerous publications in the clean energy sector. She then transitioned to a development finance role at Invenergy, where she gained significant experience managing complex financial models that enabled the development and contracting of large-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects.

Aryana holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a focus in power systems and renewable energy, from the University of Pittsburgh, along with an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder.
