American Green Bank Consortium

The American Green Bank Consortium is a membership organization for Green Banks, investors, developers and other clean energy supports to expand and accelerate clean energy investment across the United States. It provides direct services to members, organizes working groups to solve collective challenges, investigates best practices to be deployed at scale, facilitates information sharing and networking, and seeks to raise dedicated capital for the benefit of the group.

The Consortium is operated as a project of CGC and was launched at the beginning of 2019 to serve as a gathering place for the rapidly growing and maturing green bank community in the United States.

Early Consortium activities have included producing the first Annual Industry Report summarizing investments and trends across the set of domestic green banks, and the convening of the first annual Green Bank Summit in the United States.
